An Eastern Shore Weekend

On Sunday Eva's dad flew to the Eastern Shore, so we took Dickinson to the airport in Wierwood to see lots of planes!

We went to Bill and Robyn's for a wonderful seaside oyster roast. Dickinson got to meet his new friend, Jackson!
Thornton met us at Don Valerio's for lunch on Sunday.

Lucky us got a visit from Eva this weekend. Good thing since Dickinson has been asking for her for weeks now.

Visit to Vaucluse

On Wednesday Dickinson and I spent the day with Errin and Lucia. After a tasty Yuk-Yuk's sub we took a long walk and stuck our fingers in the Chesapeake Bay. It was a beautiful, warm day for November!

Classy little fellow, isn't he?

"I told that crazy, old Sullivan woman that I am NOT into pink!"

The Shed

The shed finally arrived!
Has Thornton shrunk??? No- that dude is tall!

Cute on Tuesday Morning

A happy boy and his frog.

Uncle Bill

We had a visit this weekend from Uncle Bill.

Thornton spent most of the weekend planting more trees, but he did stop to grill up a few steaks for all of us.

Dickinson took a nap outstide in his stroller while we watched his dad plant trees. Brrrrrr.
A new milestone for Dickinson- Thornton made him feed a rice cake to sweet Shackelford!

Garden Club Ladies

We had a visit this week from Grandmom Tayloe and her pal Sue. They stayed here before venturing on to a few tours of the Shore.

They came with many gifts, including a batman/superman cape and those cute crab shoes.

Sue got a true Eastern Shore experience with a dinner at Yuk-Yuk's, while the Watson grandparents hung out with Dickinson. We would have taken him with us, but are trying to preserve the little boy's lungs as long as possible.

Lunch Date

Today, Errin, Lucia, Dickinson and I went to Don Valerio's for a scrumptious Mexican lunch. Lucia was great and bright eyed and Dickinson snoozed the whole time! Good babies. No surprise there-What would you expect our kids to act like?????

Good thing Dickinson had his trusty blue hat... it was chilly out!

As you can see, Lucia was shocked that she couldn't have a margarita.

Tayloe Forest

This weekend Thornton started planting a "few" trees in our yard. We all went to pick them up and Thornton suckered his friend Bill Cridlin into helping load them up.

Dickinson was ready for the cool fall weather, sporting his new red overalls.

Thornton planted about 17 trees- only about 50 more to go! Please contact him if you have a burning desire to help dig holes.
