Sunday Walk

On Sunday we took Dickinson and Sophie on their first walk together.

The suit is a little big. She was just in a little ball in the middle of the suit, not using the arms or the legs of it. Oh well, it served it's purpose. She was warm as could be.

If only he would learn to share.

Central Park

On Monday Thornton and I took Sophie and Dickinson to Central Park- no not New York, Cape Charles. It was great. Sophie slept the whole time so unfortunately no one thought to take a picture of her.

Dickinson was not at all interested in swinging with me.


He LOVED swinging on his own swing. He was holding his arms up in the air like he was on a roller coaster and screaming.

Sophie arrived on December 4, 2008 at 10:41 am. She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces. Welcome Sophie Grey!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This was what we did on Sophie's due date instead of having a baby at NAM. We roasted hotdogs and oysters on a beautiful night. Then Thornton and his dad caught a few rockfish for a fish taco dinner the next night.

Dickinson loved the fire. He says it's "hot."



Thanksgiving night we all ate at my parents and Dickinson was happiest once we took his clothes off to put on his PJ's.


After dinner there was some rousing music from various musical instruments.
