Wachapreague Carnival

On Wednesday night we went with the Cridlins to the carnival. Dickinson had his first merry go round ride. He loved it. Robyn and I played some quarter bingo and won nothing. The french fries with vinegar were delicious.

These three pics are from Thursday evening at the Sullivan's. These two little ones just wanted to see what their dads were putting in the cooler.

Lazy Days of Summer

We hung out at the Vaucluse pool on Tuesday. It was great. Dickinson loved the baby pool and then spent almost 2 hours sleeping in his stroller in the air conditioned pool house. good times.

Dickinson, Lucia, and Lucy.
"Look Lucia, there's a boy over there!"

What could those girls be planning?

Errin and Lucia- who also napped for about 2 hours!!

After the pool, we hit the beach with Thornton after he got off work. Dickinson sported his new bathing suit with floaties from Dollar General. He favorite thing to do is crawl in the water. He doesn't stop crawling even when the water is so deep that it hits his face. Considering this behavior, we felt he would be a lot safer with some attached flotation device.

Thornton, Dickinson, and Shackelford

These pics are from Sunday. Dickinson and I went out on the boat with Mom and Dad while poor Thornton moved the warehouse.

After the boat, Dickinson chilled on the creekhouse front porch.

In our family, we all like to help out, each in our own way. Please note the dark, threatening sky in the background.

Mom helping.
Dad helping.

First Beach Day for Dickinson

On Saturday we spent the day at the Cape Charles Beach. It was Dickinson's first time getting in the Chesapeake Bay! He loved it. He kept trying to crawl into deeper and deeper water until his face was going in.

Dickinson- already picking up chicks at the Cape Charles beach.
