Sad Dickinson, Happy Dickinson, Bored Sophie

Top video: Dickinson was sitting under the blanket and spitting his milk out- something he thinks is very funny. I took the milk away and he was not a happy camper.

Bottome video: Dickinson has still been taking baths in the little blue bathtub in the tub to help keep him contained. We have decided to let him free. He absolutely loves a bath- can't wait for the Bay this summer!! Sophie decided that she did not want to spend her precious few minutes of wake time watching Dickinson take a bath.

Sweet Sophie

Dickinson kept trying to put one of those cylinder shaped toys in her hand as they were flailing around. He never quite made contact. He was super excited that she was on the floor and was just sure that that meant that she was ready to play.

k

Conversation when I arrived-

Kate: Hey Dickinson, I brought your rope for you!
Nurse: And what's the rope for? (Confused look on her face)
Thornton: He just loves ropes.
Kate: Yep.

Then came a slightly awkward silence. I am sure she then remembered we were from the Eastern Shore.

That Ain't No Vegetable, Dad!

Dickinson enjoyed his first popsicle this morning after breakfast. Perhaps the red dye has something to due with the fact that he is finally falling alseep right now at 10:20 pm, only 3 hours past his bedtime.

The Tongue

On Tuesday morning Dickinson fell in his room and bit through his tongue. Thornton came home from work and drove him over to Virginia Beach General emergency room. Mom, Sophie, and I road over a few hours later. He got 5 stitches and is doing great.

Christmas 2008

Friends.

A little peppermint

The Tayloe grandparents gave Dickinson a vacuum for Christmas. Now he can be just like his dad.

This is the tricycle from the Watson grandparents. Dickinson was telling Dad bye-bye and circling the house.

First real bath in her pink poodle towel.

A Christmas Day low tide!!

Lots of reading ahead of us. Thanks Wescotts!!!

Sure, everything is under control with two kids. No problem.

It's so nice that she stays in one place.
