Can you say WHIP CREAM?????

Tiny Dancer

oh the long winter

The first Northampton County mafia man. Thornton did his hair.

For a small fee, you too can rent these 2 fools to come entertain your kids. Email me for rates and references. Sleeping dog not included.

Dickinson attended story hour at the Cape Charles library and then played with Lucy Lusk at the park. I looked up from my lunch and reading the paper, after realizing it uncharacteristically quiet, only to find Dickinson asleep with his little sandwich grasped in his hand. I took him straight to bed. Obviously not quite ready to give up the morning nap.

Sophie had a pleasant afternoon visiting with Anna Cridlin while Dickinson was fishing with the boys.

Thornton came home for lunch long enough for a hot dog, some ice cream, and some fort building. Dickinson is also under the table.

Dickinson and Sophie

A Brother and A Sister

What, Dickinson, you've never cried like that before?

Dickinson thinks it is time to play when Sophie hangs out on her play mat. He loves to hold her hand and give her kisses. He also pats her and says "nice." (Since that is what we say to him to keep him from swatting at her.)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Dickinson had his first taste of Valentine's Day candy. Needless to say, he loved it.

On Saturday night we went to a Valentine's Day party. It was craziness- full of many children and hearts galore!
Dickinson got to play with Claire and Sam Stith. Claire is watching intently to see what is going to happen between the two boys. I am sure Dickinson was not about to take a swing with that net.

Dickinson had no shame and thoroughly enjoyed all of the treats.

Sophie looked like a little Valentine herself with all of her red and pink.

Dickinson and Claire working hard in the kitchen. They were both very serious and would not turn around for a picture.

The picture says it all.

Why does Errin look so happy?

Three dads and their girls.

Some February Pics

Dickinson loves to put things on his head and walk around the house.

This was Sophie after we told her Dickinson had to go to bed before she did.

Dickinson used the model baby to show Bill how it's done.

"You want me to do what?"

Dickinson flew a kite for the first time. He loved it.

Boys and their bikes

I'd be crying too, Dickinson.

Oh, Dickinson.

We don't send him to Terry Cobb for nothing!

More Pics from C-Ville

Don't let the coke can he has placed in the picture fool you.

The two pics above speak for themselves. Obviously these are post-Redland Club party.

Cousin Gray's debut on the blogspot!! It was great to see her on Sunday!

This is neighbor Hugh, who brought Dickinson an awesome puzzle to play with.

Watching Elmo was a big hit.

Please note that no children were actually harmed in this video. And he was fine and had a quick recovery after he realized his face had not really been burned.

"Do you mind if I have a little of your rice?"

They ate, they played, they shared (kind of)!

It was so great to see Aunt Michaux and Cousin Millie in Charlottesville!

Charlottesville Trip!

One of Sophie's favorite things these days is hanging out on the playmat.

Dickinson viewed his grandparents house as a wonderful track to go around and around and around. He LOVED it.

Dickinson and Sophie went to a Japanese steakhouse for the first time. Sadly Sophie's not quite ready for chicken fried rice. Dickinson would have stayed there for hours.
