The Carnival

Waiting for Dickinson to come around again, and again, and again, and again....

Too many fries with vinegar for these two.

No better place to eat dinner. And did I mention it was American Idol night in Wachapreague?????

Flying the friendly skies.

Lulu and Dickinson getting every ride they could out of the merry go round. We had to bribe them both to get them off.

You can see Dickinson was wearing his leash. The other two friends should probably have had theirs as well.

Not exactly the Loch Ness Monster, but just as fun!

4th of July

We watched fire works at Cherrystone.

Thornton and Sophie at the Cape Charles celebration.

How many grandparents does it take to keep track of Dickinson at a festival? Lots!

Yep, we were in a parade. Dickinson got tired of waiting for it to start and bit Sophie really hard. Luckily she recovers quickly and all was well.

Beach Days

"What?? That...

is...
so funny!!!!!!!!"

Just another evening after work.

It's a shame neither one of our kids ever have on real bathing suits. Maybe next year.

Lots of beach babies these days.

Does Dickinson need any more beach gear on? Swim diaper, sunglasses, orange swimmies.

Fast boat= thrilled Dickinson

Yes, he has his own beach chair.

Who is that little girl sitting up?

Please note that not one of those toys belongs to Dickinson.

Beach Babysitter, Derker, in action. You can rent him by the hour at the Cape Charles Beach!

He's really good!

Dickinson managed to weasel his way into Terrie's beach camp. He thought he belonged there.

Sophie and Parker in the shade.

A Crab Feast

Choo. Choo.

The chef.

"What do you mean I have to PICK my own crab meat?????"

" AHHH, thanks Dad, this is better."

"Yes, Grandad, you were right. It is better to get someone else to pick it for you."

Dickinson found two good willed people, whom he put to work for him.

Sophie did not eat any crabs.

Jessica and Jim stayed with us for a few days and got in on the action!
